Beta terms.
Short and plainly stated.
These are the terms under which ScreenMind is offered during the private beta. They do not replace applicable law; where something in here conflicts, the law wins.
What the beta is
A pre-release macOS application, provided to you free of charge, for evaluation. Features may change or be removed. Data formats may change; migrations will be provided where reasonable.
What we ask of you
Use the app on devices you own or are authorised to use. Do not attempt to extract, decompile, or redistribute the application binary. Let us know about crashes, surprises, and strong opinions — that is the point of a beta.
What we promise
The app is provided “as is” without warranty. We will respond to security issues promptly. We will give at least 30 days’ notice before any change that affects data portability.
Your data
Your captures and notes are yours. They never leave your Mac unless you explicitly send them to a third-party AI provider (see our Privacy page).
Termination
You may stop using the app at any time. We may end the beta at any time; if we do, your locally-stored data remains yours and accessible.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the beta.
